What can I expect after I sign up to volunteer?
There are certain times in the year where Paschal Elementary needs volunteers. When a need arises, a SignUpGenius email will be sent to all parents/guardians who have signed up to be a volunteer. Examples of events are: lunch monitors, car line greeters, support for the holiday shop, and Field Day.
I signed up to be a volunteer in my child's classroom, is volunteering through the PTC different?
PTC requests volunteers for school administration events and PTC sponsored events. Your Patriot's teacher will have more classroom specific volunteer needs. You will need to sign up for both if you want to volunteer in your Patriot's classroom as well as for PTC sponsored events.
Do I have to sign up every school year to be a PTC volunteer?
Yes. We try to ensure that each school year we have an updated email distribution list of parents/guardians who still have students enrolled in Paschal, and who are still able to volunteer.
Am I able to sign up at any time?
Yes! We always welcome support from parents/guardians of our Patriots!
I signed up to be a PTC volunteer, but I am no longer to able to volunteer. How can I remove my name?
We would love to see you remain on the volunteer list as you can pick and choose the events to volunteer, when you have the time. However, if you would like to be removed, please send an email to [email protected] and we'll take care of it right away.
